Roundup of open calls focused on the social sciences in the Arab region - May 17, 2018

The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) and the Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS) are pleased to announce the launch of a new joint grants program entitled Research on the Arts Program (RAP) starting in spring 2018.

The ACSS organized on October 24-25, 2018 in London a closed consultation meeting that gathered leading researchers on Arab countries, Turkey and Iran.

The Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS) is pleased to announce a five-day intensive workshop on “Studying the Urban in the Arab Region: Concepts and Methods,” co-organized with the Odum Institute, a research institute housed at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill (USA).
